Book: The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom
Author: Don Miguel Ruiz

The Four Agreements are straightforward concepts related to life. These agreements are those to whom you can easily say, ‘well, of course.’ While reading them, we can realize that they actually make sense. I read them very profoundly and started implementing them in my daily life. But, I always want to learn them again and again. Even I found that it is hard to remember them because I still think about my day, I justify myself and others as well. But overall, I found a better version of me daily, and it brings a lot of opportunities with it to be a better version again and again.
Somehow, it is very easy to always keep these four agreements in your life. And if you will do so, then you will be lead to a path where you will realize self-enlightenment, peace and motivated. Maybe you will start your journey alone with these four agreements, but very soon the entire world will be with you walking together on that same path.
I hope this little brief will open each one’s heart and will create some curiosity about the book. I firmly believe that my little summary will surely motivate you to read the book once and once you read it, you will read it again and again. This book is one of those creations which are recommendable and anyone who will read it will surely encourage and recommend others to read this book and change their respective lives.
Here are a few mentions of those four agreements:

  1. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
  2. DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
  3. DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
  4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, just do your best and it will help you a lot to avoid self-judging, self-abuse, and regretting.
